1919 West Main Street

The intersection of 19th and Main carries thousands of cars per day and is unique to the urban texture of Bozeman. 1919 West Main contributes this urban fabric through its role as the “coolest strip mall in town.” The building responds boldly to context through its form and materials. The Comma-Q Studio considered the importance of visibility, traffic counts, and site opportunities to achieve modern landmark status. A careful and creative process led to a commercial building design that responds to pedestrians and high-speed vehicular traffic.
